Kratom

What is Kratom?
Kratom is a plant native to Southeast Asia whose leaves contain compounds that can affect the mind and body. Often consumed in capsules, powders, or teas, kratom can act as a stimulant in low doses and as a sedative in higher doses. Some people use it for pain relief or to manage opioid withdrawal symptoms, but it is not FDA-approved for any medical use. Kratom can be addictive and may cause serious side effects, especially when mixed with other substances.
