What is Cychlorphine?

Cychlorphine is a newly emerging synthetic opioid that is believed to be significantly more potent than fentanyl. It has been detected in counterfeit pills and other illicit drugs, increasing the risk of accidental overdose. Because it is so strong, even very small amounts can be dangerous or fatal. Public health officials are warning communities about cychlorphine due to its growing presence in the illegal drug supply and its connection to overdose deaths across the U.S. Naloxone may still reverse an overdose, though multiple doses may be needed
