Established August 2017 

 

Our Coalition is an action oriented task force comprised of a wide variety of local agencies and organizations. The coalition meets monthly however the efforts by all participating organizations are ongoing daily.  

Priorities:

  • Creating an informed and accountable community to decrease opioid use and misuse

  • Eliminate overdoses and overdose deaths due to opioids

  • Expansion of local treatment and support programs

  • Increase community wide education and outreach 

  • Decrease opioid prescriptions locally 

  • Increase safe disposal options throughout the community

  • Increase and provide training and distribution of Naloxone
