San Benito County is reporting a spike in drug overdoses likely linked to counterfeit pills containing fentanyl. From January 1, 2021 to today, there have been 36 individuals requiring naloxone administration by Emergency Medical Services. Of the 36 reported cases, 17 have occurred in the last three months, which is very concerning.
